I once needed to give two copies of my piece (sonata Pathetique) to judges at a music competition. Of course I printed them off IMSLP. After the competition they told me that I couldn't have my scores back, as they had to destroy them for copyright reasons. :) Ironic?

You could try Freidrich Gulda. I have the boxed set of him playing all Beethoven's Sonatas and Concerti. Very good. I haven't actually listened to him playing the Pathetique yet, although it's one of my favourite Beethoven Sonatas.

Did Beethoven write a cadenza for Mozart's piano concerto No.21 K. 467?

Thanks for all the help! I've actually managed to do it now (firefox 3) after trying 8 or 9 times, eventually it just 'clicked' into place. I've also tried IE7 with the same effects. All seems to be working well now. Thanks again, Sixhobbits am still battling with the 'Invalid Session. Please Resubm...

I'm replying to my own message to bring it to the top of the 'date list' again.
Can anyone help me with the above problem, I'm having it with a few other files, too.

Thanks,

Beethoven Piano Concerto no. 2, 2 piano reduction

When trying to download Beethoven's 2nd Piano Concerto, arranged for two pianos, I get a message, something along the lines of: The file is damaged and could not be repaired. If I right click on the file and press 'save link as' I can only get the first 280 kb. Any solutions? Thanks Sixhobbits Also,...

But should we stumble upon a user with a fantastic knowledge of the copyright process, we won't hesitate admitting him or her That rules me out then. :) Maybe we could open a page where users can list the piece that they would most like to see reviewed. Then you can see which are the pieces most in...

"4. become a copyright reviewer"

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere on these forums that you guys aren't accepting any more reviewers. Am I wrong??

Wow!! Thanks for this Sanifor.

Have just watched Evgeni Bozhanov playing. I haven't heard anyone (except of course Richter) playing Rachmaninoff's Second so perfectly. I haven't seen the rest of the competition, but it looks like Evgeni has a good chance...

I have the Boosey & Hawkes 2 Piano Reduction of Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto. Re-engraved edition 1967, corrected 2000. It says: "(c) Copyright 1901 by Hawkes and Son (London) Ltd." on the first page. Would this be under copyright? IMSLP had a 2 Piano Reduction of Rachmaninoff's 2...

Chopin's Waltzes are very nice, and some of them aren't that difficult. Maybe you should listen to a recording of them and see which ones 'grab' you.

Personally, I like Op. 70 no.1 Gb. I used to play it.
