Copyright question

I was given a piano sextet by one Vassily Alexandrovich Barvinsky. It's score only and I would be tempted to make and post a new edition with separate parts. The composer was Ukrainian, 1888-1963 and the work was first published in 1915. Can someone tell me about the copyright situation? Cheers.

Further to my earlier post, I upgraded to Firefox 3.5.2 (from 3.0.something) and that seems to do the trick.

Greetings all. I have about the same problem in New Zealand. After accepting the disclaimer, Firefox crashes. The problem is only about 6 days old. Maybe someone at Google would be able to give some advice about what to put in the main page without actually disclosing their page ranking algorithm, if the problem were explained to them. After all, Google claims to be committed to open source.

I noticed that the above website is asking money for files that I posted on IMSLP with the express purpose that the material should be free. I don't think that is fair. It is clear that these people pilfer the files directly from IMSLP by downloading the new posts. Are these people violating the ter...
