Re: "Les jeux d'eaux a la Villa d'Este" by Liszt

I just recently discovered that there is a manuscript version on IMSLP in which Liszt does not indicate to return to "tre corde". So evidently it is not a publisher's error. I have the Dover edition and there are two different published editions on IMSLP which are all the same in this rega...

"Les jeux d'eaux a la Villa d'Este" by Liszt

On the second page of the piece is the instruction, "una corda", then again on the next page,"sempre una corde". For the remainder of the piece there are no further "corde" instructions, specifically no indication to return to "tre corde". Was this an oversigh...

"View" linked to wrong document

The "View" button for the first edition on this page is not linked to that post but apparently to the following posted edition.
The first edition has a melodic error in measure 7.

Re: Finger/pedal indications--composer's or editor's?

What prompted my asking this question was noticing some odd fingering in Franz Liszt's piano transcription of the "Waltz from the Opera Faust" by Gounod: (copy between the arrows and paste to browser) <http://imslp.org/wiki/Valse_de_l%27op%C3%A9ra_Faust,_S.407_(Liszt,_Franz)#For_Piano_solo...

Finger/pedal indications--composer's or editor's?

In any edition of piano music other than a manuscript there is usually an editor indicated. When finger and pedal indications are present but there is no attribution given to either the composer or the editor is there a general rule one can assume as to their source?

Chopin Waltz in C# Minor

Could someone please post this in piano solo version? There are only versions for Violin or Cello and Piano posted. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Why no signature on postings?

I am a member but when I post a message on a discussion page I dont see any option for adding the ID signature, date and time that I see on other postings. Why?

Re: Linking to other websites

Could I put the link on the discussion page of the composer category? The other site has over 200 works but ILSLP has less than 20. This might help those searching for the music until work pages can be created.

Linking to other websites

If another website has all the PD music of a composer as PDFs can I add a link to that site on the composer page without creating a work page for each piece?

copyright vs publication

Are the year of copyright and year of publication synonymous for determing PD status?
Specifically, would a piece of music that states"Copyright 1922" at the bottom of the first page be PD in the US?
