We have had this piece posted for some time now with the violin part missing. If someone has the violin part it would be great if they could post it.

Missing the violin part.

Has anyone seen the scores for any of the three Farrenc symphonies? They must be around somewhere, as all three have been recorded, but I can't find a source.

The quartet by Jean Cras was published by Salabert in 1909. The parts are still available from them (through Boosey and Hawkes) and from Silvertrust, but the work should, I believe, be PD now. What I really need is the score. If anyone can post it here it would be a great help.

Another score I'd like to see here is the Turina Piano Quartet op. 67. It dates from the early 1930's and may not be PD, but I see we do have some later opus numbers by Turina, so it may be possible. Anyway, it is one of the composers best works, and it would be great to have it.

@coulonnus - thanks for the link. I was actually hoping someone could post it here (assuming it to be legally possible). I knew where it could be purchased, but it is for a small, not-well-off community orchestra and the cost would be daunting. With a PD score I could create performance parts for us...

I'm back for my annual request for the score to Charles Villiers Stanford's Symphony #4. We have only the two-piano reduction. If anyone has the orchestral score it would be lovely to have. Or, if you have a suggestion where it can be found, I''d appreciate that, too.

Any addition of string quartets by John Blackwood McEwen would be most welcome - especially those with parts. We have only four of his 17 quartets, and only two have parts. He is a criminally underappreciated composer, so it would be great to see more of him. Anyone?

Music for Four Stringed Instruments by Charles Martin Loeffler - score or parts.

A friend of mine found an early work by Frank Martin, the Piano Quintet, posted on Petrucci some time ago, but it no longer appears to be available. In fact, I see now that there is not even a listing for the composer. What is his status? I would have thought that his compositions before 1923 might ...

Does anyone know the status of this work? It was written in 1917, and the composer died in 1950. I have no idea when (or even if) it was actually published. It would be interesting to have if possible.

Time once again for my annual request of the score for Symphony #4 by Charles Villiers Stanford. The piano reduction is posted, but I would love to be able to see the orchestration.

I see by the pub date that it is not PD yet in the US or Europe, but it should be in Canada.

This is a wonderful work. If anyone has score and parts it would be a great addition.
