J. Jaydn, Der Sturm, Hob.XXIVa:8

Something is wrong with the score link in the work page for the madrigal "Der Sturm" by J. Haydn, Hob.XXIVa:8. https://imslp.org/wiki/Der_Sturm,_Hob.XXIVa:8_(Haydn,_Joseph) When I click on the score link https://imslp.org/wiki/Special:ImagefromIndex/304570/qx82 I get an error message: Bad ...

Error upon google based search

I was looking for the title of a Danish song 'Hvor skoven dog er frisk og stor" and entered hvor skoven dog in the search field I got a single search hit http://bnf.cn.imslp.org/autoindex/index.php?dir=caimg/0/0c/&file=IMSLP429379-PMLP697550-Ebbe_notes_comb.pdf Having clicked on the link I ...

Re: [BUG] Different score files, same file name

imslp is not your work station :-) Give the newer score and parts very original names, unlikely to be already present somewhere on imslp. Otherwise imslp reacts as if you wanted to substitute the newer score and parts to those present. I do very much doubt that the IMSLP engine is set up to handle ...

[BUG] Different score files, same file name

While adding new arrangements to my existing project: flute sonatas by Martin Ræhs https://imslp.org/wiki/10_Flute_Sonatas_(R%C3%A6hs,_Martin) I'm encountering problems with scores having different content but having identical filenames. This naming is possible since the files reside in different di...

Re: Engraving software list

OK - how would I know about this software survey if you didn't tell tell me? I don't find any links to it on IMSLP pages. Maybe I'm just blind? My main engraving software, MUP was only partly represented, so I've added it to the table of software packages. But that was not that easy either. From the...

Engraving software list

I miss an IMSLP page with information on engraving software used for IMSLP new engraving editions. I vaguely remember that there once was a page like that. Am I wrong?

Re: Upcoming changes

Quite a few participants in this discussion are suspecting that the new membership 'nagging' give IMSLP guests the impression of a commercial, paid for service. Through a private correspondence with a - as it turns out - involuntary contributor I can confirm this suspicion as you'll see in this repl...

Re: Upcoming changes

Just to make this clear to everybody. All partially public domain files (that have Non-PD tags attached to them) and CC licensed files are not subjected to the 15 second waiting period. I checked once again the example I posted on delayed download of a public domain manuscript facsimile from the Ro...

Re: Upcoming changes

It rankles me to see the WIMA collection within IMSLP presented like that. I guess that scores from the WIMA collection are currently excluded from the 15 seconds delay mechanism. As far as I understood, all scores released under CC licenses are also excluded I've tested that on a score from my ong...

Re: Upcoming changes

I do stand by my previously expressed considerations on the importance of IMSLP distributing classical music score on non commercial conditions and on the need for its funding. However I need to say that I dissent from the 'nagging' implementation of recruiting paying members. Until I logged out fro...

Re: Upcoming changes

I did notice the new IMSLP logo a couple of days ago, but wasn't aware of the subscription model until I received a private, alarming email saying that IMSLP is now charging! Now that I know about the reasons for introducing a subscription I can indeed follow the arguments for it - even if I'd have ...

Template LinkWorkN

During my review of the Georg Gerson List of Works page http://imslp.org/index.php?title=List_of_works_by_Georg_Gerson I'm encountering a problem with the template LinkWorkN. I want to reference the work page for Härtel's Deutsches Liederlexicon ( http://imslp.org/wiki/Deutsches_Liederlexicon_%28Var...

Re: File revision not implemented?

According to the file history Cypressdome reverted the score file to the version from 25 October 2014 referring to this discussion. It looks like there is a misunderstanding going on here. On my request Bob prepared an update of his recorder arrangement the result is which is the thumbnail image dis...

Re: [FEAT]Translator parameter on work info level

This feature does work Christian, and all you have to do is use {{LinkTr}} against the person's name in the librettist section, like this: |Librettist={{LinkLib|Johann Wolfgang von|Goethe}} (1749-1832)<br>{{LinkTr|Antonio|Ganganelli}}, Italian translation OK - I can live with the label Librettist d...
