Re: Can I add my own "for sale" link?

I was rather thinking having a specific product link on individual compositions.

I have a bunch of stuff on lulu that is not music related, so that would be kind of confusing. Not to mention that people looking at one composition are not likely to go parsing my category page.

Can I add my own "for sale" link?

I publish some of my stuff on lulu.com. Can I add a link in the Notes section or so?

And someone already posted the number of daily downloads; what I'm interested in is volume.

Just curious, what's the total amount of data in IMSLP and what's the traffic per day/week/whatever?

In case I (or anyone) would think of mirroring the whole caboodle.

Re: Upcoming changes

The problem with virtually all print-on-demand services is the available page-sizes. I mostly write music for quartet through octet. My music would probably cost 20 or so dollars from a regular publisher, and you would get a score plus each part separately. With lulu.com (which I use for other purp...

Re: IMSLP Youtube

I'm catching up on old forum posts....

What was the intended use of this channel? As far as I can tell it's entirely empty.

On my channel there are a bunch of videos of my compositions/arrangements that are on IMSLP. Let me know if you can use them.

Re: Animated scores?

Does Adobe Reader also play the soundfile? The idea of that video is that you hear the music and follow the score. I know, it's only a minimal improvement over just opening two browser tabs and doing the page turns yourself.

Animated scores?

I sometimes make videos from score pages & the recording.

https://vimeo.com/136165637

Would that classify as "live video" or is that exclusively for seeing people perform the piece?

Re: Estienne Roger

I have just uploaded an mp3 file with all pieces with titles A-B, corresponding to the pdf file with these titles. Some of these pieces have been rerecorded and corrected. As far as I'm concerned, you can remove all individual mp3 of mine with titles A-B. That should clear the page up a little more....

I've just uploaded another bundle. This allows for removal of:

Re: Estienne Roger

Just a reminder: please remove the pieces as indicated. You can redirect them to the bundle that's now in place.

Re: Estienne Roger

Yes, that's what I meant to convey. The individual files are out of date, and the tunes are in the bundled file. Therefore they can be deleted.

From now on I will only release these bundles of about 2 dozen pieces at a time.

Re: Estienne Roger

I've just uploaded a single pdf file with all 29 pieces I have arranged that have titles starting with A-B. This duplicates the following pieces which can be removed: http://imslp.org/wiki/File:PMLP564208-Bedroefde_Ziel.pdf http://imslp.org/wiki/File:PMLP564208-Achter_de_heylighe_steegh.pdf http://i...

Re: Estienne Roger

So, in summary, there are two options, depending on the number of files involved: 1) If there are to be fewer than 100 arrangements, group the individual files by SATB , SATB (etc.) 2) If there are likely to be more, merge the individual PDF files to create larger files, according to how the pieces...

Re: Spanish composer names

Go ahead and change. That shorter form was in fact used on the original sheet music of the vilanchico I just arranged. It was only when I looked him up in the Grove that I found the longer form.
