Feb27,2021: free CPDL-hosted webinar about how to use Jamulus for remote rehearsals or sing-alongs

Jamulus ( https://jamulus.io/ ) is a software technology conceived for playing, rehearsing, or just jamming with others online as if people were physically at the same place. The delay introduced by the internet connections is compensated through advanced digital signal processing functions. On Febr...

You should contact the designated agent for "Notice and Takedown Procedure" as described here . Please note that, if it is correct that these works were published before 1926, they are public domain in the US, where the relevant IMSLP server is located. I'm not sure that the "Notice a...

Re: a charm of lullabies by Benjamin britten

I'm afraid that this work is still under copyright everywhere in the world, so it is not eligible for being uploaded to IMSLP. I'd suggest you to buy it from a distributor who may have copies at stock. I've recently purchased scores from Presto Music, and items were delivered internationally without...

Re: Elfenlied - Six songs : op. 22 Alexander Zemlinsky

The "Editio princeps" rule for Canada is a little bit garbled (see https://imslp.org/wiki/Public_domain ), however first performance in 1935 probably ensures that this work is PD in Canada, too. When this subject was discussed in 2009 the IMSLP regional servers were not existing yet, so th...

The correct spelling is Sonatina Canonica, this may help searching through Google, Worldcat, etc.

Keep an eye on the address bar of your browser and check whether you switch from http to https or vice versa. This may interfere with the "remember me" cookies.

Re: musicxml engraving files

The CPDL Multi-Site_Search tool is very rough, however it may be better than nothing. Enter "MusicXML" as a keyword, and select "All words in page text". You'll get work title results on CPDL as well as on IMSLP.

Re: copyright on recent works in public domain in EU

You have to consider both copyright on the work itself, and copyright on the specific edition of that work. Recent editions where the editor(s) made no significant contributions in an effort to replicate the author's intentions are called "Scientific" or "Urtext" editions. Copyri...

Re: Edit of my name, photo, submitting my first IMSLP piece

Your composer page was deleted on September 9 because it remained empty for several days. I've restored it. However, if you wish to change the name, not to add the picture, etc., it might be easier that you just build another one from scratch, and let the current one to be deleted again.

I'm quite surprised that you experience an acceptable delay. If so, this article may be of interest for you.

Re: Is there a remote "chat" application for chamber music?

I'm afraid that all normal services that allow to share an audio channel among several users have another bigger problem: the delay. Playing music synchronously when located in different places is probably impossible without means specifically designed for that purpose, so that the delay is minimum ...

Puoi postare esattamente il testo della mail dove diceva della cancellazione?

Per problematiche di questo genere conviene rivolgersi a [email protected], possibilmente in inglese. Altrimenti posso dare una mano per tradurre.
