Re: Liszt's songs for voice and Piano.

All songs are reviewed now. Everything that's in pd should be accessible. At last, we're nearing completion now, with only 275 files to go (coming from 10000...)

Re: IMSLP and How It Is Relatively Unknown

Does this mean that a parallel submission from your side to both your repository and to IMSLP will never be the case? Then, what is your opinion about IMSLP users trying to mirror every submission to Sibley's online library? It is quite easy noticable that a lot of works appear on IMSLP, or say Petr...

Re: Big News from Sibley Music Library

I don't know how much a scanning robot like BSB's cost, but I assume it could easily do more work than a person servicing a flatbed scanner!

Re: Sibelius' Late Works

In the future there are hopes of doing some sort of geographic based copyright verification base on the IP address of the requester. Are you sure? Communication of future plans has always been scant, so you might well know something that I don't know here, but I was under the impression that geoloc...

You should take a look at the scanning robots of the BSB... It's pure candy. (see their website)

IMSLP/IMDLP Dammit Feldmahler, NOBODY can get those unpronounceable acronyms right. Sorry but I need to make this unhelpful remark every once in a while. :D yes I notice this when I talk with friends-site visitors about the project. How many times I got this question 'Hey Peter, how was this site c...

But that doesn't help in the composer's list. One still has to click each individual piece. Then you are hitting the cataloguing system. Ideally, all works should be looked by composers name or by instrument; or ... These works then should made be accessible in a common way , or after choosing diff...

If this is considered a project (which it apparently is) that is based on collaboration we really need to start tracking the progress. If I had the time, I couldn't jump in because I just don't know what is done.
