I think that would be dandy so long as the page to have been deleted no longer appears on the composer's page, but rather the parent composition with which it was merged.

Many times this happens when people scan something, then edit it in microsoft paint, which when saved after editing in paint it ignores the original sampling resolution. This results in images that look huge at, say, %30-40 zoom in a PDF. If you want to make sure these print out on a page properly, ...

For example, I've come across composers who have no works in the public domain (at le...

Quite a lot of these scores are not public domain (anywhere), so in actuality there will be substantially less than the 14,000 claimed that will be making their way onto IMSLP.

I wonder if, for the big-name people (and consequently the highest concentration of scores), people could assign themselves the individual folders? I'm going to work my way from the bottom up, but with 'B' for example, someone would have to otherwise tackle Bach, Beethoven and Brahms(!) unless the l...

Wow, this is a lot. How do you think we should proceed? I was thinking something along the lines of taking it one folder at a time (since this is how it's structured), and perhaps creating a master list of the directories on the project page and letting us add our names to the sides of the ones we'l...

Either typeset files (from Finale/Sibelius) can be printed with a free PDF driver (no intermediate PS generation necessary) such as CutePDF, or they can be exported using the open file format XML. In Finale's case, most versions come with an ability to convert the MUS files into XML. For Sibelius, i...

I don't know of any free recordings available of that concerto, sorry. And it will be unlikely you'll find a commercial one of the 2 piano reduction, although that's not to say one doesn't exist.
