Savard's Morceau de Concours

Augustin Savard (1861-1942) wrote his Morceau de concours for trumpet and piano in 1903. Leducs' edition has a (C) 1955 mark, 13 years after the composer's death. Is the piece now in public domain (>70 years) or protected. Thanks worldcat entry https://www.worldcat.org/title/morceau-de-concours-pour...

Elliott Carter passed away

One of the most important figues of last century music has died last week. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/06/arts/music/elliott-carter-avant-garde-composer-dies-at-103.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1& I particularly liked this quote that somehow describe his music “As a young man, I harbored the po...

Re: Galuppi's Te Deum in C

Many thanks
Galuppi is a composer who deserves more attention. Only recently Franco Rossi published the catalog of works and Armelin published the complete harpsichord sonatas.
Still most of his works are unavailable.

Re: Galuppi's Te Deum in C

Thanks Eric,
I aware of 2 Te deums, One in C, the other in D, even if I cannot exclude there are others. The catalogue of works of Galuppi even if published recently is difficult to find
I will try to get a copy from BNF

After a deeper search I found it in Carl Proske's Selectus novus missarum: praetantissimorum superioris aevi auctorum, juxta codices originales, Vol. 2
and uploaded it.

Andrea Gabrieli Missa Pater Peccavi

Hi,
Does anyone know if any score of A. Gabrieli Missa Pater Peccavi is freely available on internet?
It was publised in Primus liber missarum sex vocum (Venice, eredi di Antonio Gardano, 1572).

Thanks

Re: Myslivececk six cello sonate

Interesting. Josef Myslivecek wrote wonderful music. These sonatas are not listed in worldcat. Maybe there are not yet published. The manuscript is in České Muzeum Hudby in Prague (see wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Myslive%C4%8Dek ) Try to contact the museum and ask for a copy...
