Re: F.J. Haydn Operas
Scores to most of these pieces are in the new Haydn critical edition and are therefore pretty much not in the public domain. There was a Philharmonia mini-score of L'infedeltà delusa edited by Robbins Landon, I seem to recall, but that is long out of print. Don't know if it would be in public domain...

Re: Haydn - Lätzte Worte (Last Words)
While we're at it, the orchestral, choral and string-quartet versions of this piece would be great to have online.

Re: Vaughan William - A London Symphony (1920 revised edition)
This is the Stainer & Bell version reprinted by Dover. If it would fit in my scanner's page area I would scan it but its slightly too large to do without repeated page realignment. It REALLY would be nice to have the original pre-revision version online, but I believe that has never been officia...

Stravinsky Rite of Spring VERY FIRST EDITION full score
The now impossible to track down a copy of the very first published edition of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, which contains many differences from other published editions, especially in scoring (I saw a copy in the Harvard College collection). The easiest to find, and to hear, is a scrape of the guer...

Wagner Lohengrin extended Grail Narration
The otherwise beautiful new Eulenburg octavo study score reprint of the Wagner Critical Edition Lohengrin does not include the extended version of the Act III Grail Narration that is usually cut but IS included in some recordings (such as Barenboim's Teldec version). The extended version also is not...

Dvorak Tone Poems & Other Orchestral Works
The original editions of Dvorak's four Erben tone-poems (The Water Goblin, Op.107, The Noonday Witch Op.108, The Golden Spinning Wheel, Op.109, The Wild Dove, Op.110) are all public domain. Even the preferable Czech Artia/Supraphon critical-edition scores might be PD. Its surprising only to find orc...
