Re: Page visits

Actually, a more useful count would be a number for each file on a work page to show how many times the link for the file has been clicked on (and presumably downloaded).

Thumbnail image for Chopin, Waltz in E-Flat major, P2-10

If I understand the server messages right, the PDFS of the piece on this page: http://imslp.org/wiki/Waltz_in_E-flat_major,_P2-10_(Chopin,_Frederic) should not be downloaded by anyone outside of the EU. However, given that the piece is complete on one page, the thumbnail image shows the entire piece...

Re: Brahms, Clarinet Sonatas op.120

You could put each sonata on a separate page, and include the same data for the 2-sonata editions on each of those pages until such time as those editions could be split.

Re: Händel's complete 'Messiah' for piano solo...

Handel would not have written a version of Messiah for piano solo. Just sayin'.

Borodin: Prince Igor's aria

If anyone has access to the full score of the opera Prince Igor, there's someone who contacted me overnight who needs Igor's aria from Act 2.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Reinhold Gliere

Just a word of advice: It helps to include the title or opus number of the piece you're requesting in the subject line of a score-request thread. Giving just the composer's name in the subject line might unintentionally deter someone from reading it.

Would it be asking too much that digressions/discussions concerning football, etc. take place under "Off Topic"?

BUG: This forum

There must be a bug in this forum. The topics "500 internal error" and "[BUG} Cornet part doesn't print" keep showing as having "new" postings, but neither has a new postings since April 1.

Re: Copyrights - Public Domain - Official Performance

Just be sure that you understand the difference between "public domain" status on the one hand, and "Creative Commons" license on the other.

You'll have to purchase the printed music somewhere or try to get it on interlibrary loan.

Re: Overrated, Overused, Overdone, underrated etc.

"played most often" means "overdone."

Not just Mahler No. 1, but also Schubert's "Great," Stravinsky's Firebird, Petrushka, and Rite of Spring, Orff's Carmina Burana, and Mozart's/Verdi's/Faure's Requiems.
