Re: R. Strauss Serenade, Op. 7
It seems to just be the way the publisher labeled the parts. Horns 1 and 2 are in E-flat and horns 3 and 4 are in B-flat. The linked parts are correct but the publisher labeled horns 3 and 4 also as 1 and 2.

Re: Home Sweet Home by Bishop
Somehow it appears that the system thought that your file was a duplicate of the Walker arrangement for 3 voices that was published in 1855 that appears further up the page. I would suggest you change the file name of the file you are uploading and go through the add score process again. We'll just ...

Re: Compilations
Posting the entire work as a collection under the editor's category is an option. An example of such a page is Diebold's Laudate Dominum in Organo, Op.105 of which Diebold was both the editor and a contributor. In order to get the work to show up under the Collection tab for a composer whose work is...
Re: 1/1/2xxx
As best as I can tell all the works of PD-CA composers, librettists, etc. have now been moved from the U.S. server to the site's main server. Fortunately, the volume of scores on the U.S. server wasn't overwhelming (only 17 folders) for these years (1962 and 1963). Hopefully, by the time Cyril Scott...

Re: LinkLib vs LinkName
That's the problem. LinkName merely transforms the name into a hyperlink to the person's category. LinkLib creates the hyperlink but also places the work page into that person's "As Librettist" tab on their category page.

The work has now been moved to the correct composer and I've requested that the copyright tag be updated. Thanks!

Re: Add a category "Easy violin pieces"
Hi Ravpapa, I know this has been discussed before both here and on the wiki and it would benefit many users so let's try something (even if it isn't the best solution). I've created a template ( {{EVln}} ) and a category page Easy Works for Violin . My suggestion would be to place the template in on...

Thanks for the upload. The U.S. copyright was renewed on the work in 1952 and I've updated the work page to reflect this.

Re: HANSON, HOWARD SYMPHONY NO 2
Since Hanson died in 1981 his works will not be public domain in Canada until Jan. 1, 2032. You can add another twenty years onto that for the European Union. The symphony was published in 1932 and the U.S. copyright was renewed in 1960 so it will not be public domain in the United States until Jan....

Re: Scanning, editing, etc, on Mac; asking for advice
I'm afraid that I have no experience with the Mac OS but it appears that the Imagemagick team suggests using MacPorts to automatically download and install Imagemagick and the delegate libraries. Did you use this method?

Re: Missing pages IMSLP Score
There's no need to contact DKB. Their file actually had all the pages (albeit a few were out of order) but the file the user uploaded to IMSLP was missing pages. I have uploaded the complete score and parts converted to black and white. They should pass copyright review sometime within the next few ...

Re: Marcel Dupre
"Dupre" for the 1923 volume and "quatre" for the 1950 volume. Given the imperfect nature of OCR technology--especially on poorly contrasted color images--I was surprised to find it at all.
