Re: Regular downtime

Update: I found the cause for the irregularity. http://www.imslp.org is resolving incorrectly; however, imslp.org (without the www) resolves the right IP. Different favorites and history entries in my browser caused me to one time visit with and the other time without www prefix. Changing topic titl...

Re: Regular downtime

Thanks for your help. Indeed, when entering the correct IP, Renoir's girls are smiling at me. I will inform you when I have something new! The weird thing is however, sometimes I do connect correctly on this network.

www.imslp.org resolving to wrong IP address in Europe

Feldmahler, since the last two weeks (since the last planned downtime?) I experience regular times when the server is unreachable. They are mostly short, when checking back after one hour it's over. Are you aware of this? Is anyone else experiencing this?

unknowing of this conversation, I had already moved the Op.12b to its own work page, because it was published separately.

Re: James Ensor

The Belgian classical radio (Radio 3, now Klara) recorded a cd with his works and improvisations back in 1999. If I find some time I'll have a look at it. You can also try your luck in the Ensor museum in Oostende, Belgium (his hometown).

Re: A little update

I think it would be wise, in the view of your possible absence, of providing code access to people who know how to work with it. I'm convinced that this, in addition to mirroring and backing up, is essential for a guaranteed longevity.

Szymanowski in US

Post-1923 works by Szymanowski (d.1937) are currently tagged as copyrighted in US. However, upon TRIPS entry, he was already in public domain in his country (polish law was life +50, had not joined EU). If Szymanowski did not publish simultaneously (within 30 days) in the US in compliance with US fo...

[BUG] futuristic tags!

View recent additions, or the tag with the largest number, and you'll get: # 21:08, 07/07 #37278 [Edit] [History] -- (V*/V/V*) [Carolus] Array Is this a bug or on purpose? There was a six-digit tag too some weeks ago, but diseppeared. If it's a bug, you might want to have a look at it, as we're reac...

Re: Salabert Chopin

I know someone who has the Cortot edition of the nocturnes. I'll check whether we can find any clues there if it would be an untranslated verison.

[FEAT] WM Extension: backward navigation

I'd like to see this extension installed. When hovering over 'what links here', it pops up the list of links that's visible normally after the click. It would seem very practical to me, as I try to maintain (and wish to maintain more) the manual composition lists. With a simple hover one can check w...

Re: Salabert Chopin

To my knowledge Senart/Salabert did a lot of copyfraud and placed new copyright dates on reprints. However, you should make sure that what's in front of you is really a reprint and that there is no alteration or correction in the print, as Cortot was still living at that time - this will of course o...

Re: Orchestral Parts Project

That doesn't keep this particular page from getting obsolete this way... Unless the page should be abandoned completely, but other works do have parts that are not from the OML.
