Hello friends,
Could we have an "Add a new publisher" option on the publisher's page, similar to the "add a new composer" on the composers' page?
I have an article ready but can't see how to upload it.
Regards

Re: uploading help please
Hello friends: A browser swap might help. In the university where I work I couldn't get onto the new site for uploading grades, even though with my internet explorer I could zoom around the world. After three data center guys had fiddled with it for an hour, they simply installed firefox without a w...

Re: Russian state library: translation needed
Hello RSL fans: One point you might like to note with RSL: to make sure you have all the works by a given composer. Find his/her works using Roman letters. Copy the cyrillic version of the name (highlight and choose copy), from the left side of the screen. Go back to the top of the page. Paste the c...

Re: Main Page graphic re-design
Hello friends: The new main page is a great improvement. Thank you admins. Can I ask about the butterfly object on the main page? It' pretty, but doesn't mean anything to me. Is it supposed to be a letter of the alphabet? Previously when it was red it looked like a dead octopus. Now it's more like a...

Non-English characters
Hello admins Could we please have the drag and drop list of non-English characters, such as umlaut, French e's and cedilla, Polish s variants etc, available for drag and drop on the "Add new piece" and "Add score" pages? It must be laborious for the admins to change all the "...

Hello admins:
Thank you for changing the wording. It now, in my view, is much clearer to the casual user.

Re: Easy Pieces for Violin and Piano
Hello Gambit21 The easy piece writers who are out of copyright such as Dancla and Wohlfahrt don't have a lot to offer on IMSLP. However you could try Dancla's Petite Ecole de la Melodie. Also I have just uploaded Moffat's Alte Meister. Moffat died in 1950, so please watch your PD rules. One great co...

Re: "Enter parameters" message
I've actually never encountered this message, so if you could provide a screenshot or the verbatim message it'd be helpful. If it appears very infrequently, I think it might be less trouble to just leave it in. This is the message in question: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\...

"Enter parameters" message
Is it possible to cut this message, which sometimes appears when a user logs in?
All you need to do is ignore it and click on Main page and you can proceed as normal.
In addition the wording (I'm lazy etc ) is unworthy of a site used by adults.

Re: Bach double violin concerto viola part
There are two reasons one could suggest for not to reading the second solo vl part as is. First it's very difficult, playing in 4th to 6th pos half the time, while the 1st vl cruises around in lower positions. For most amateurs this produces shaky intonation. Second it sounds uninteresting. The viol...

NLA has Carl Sauer Song of Venice for violin and piano pub 1929. The composer is not in music sack. Would this be PD?
