Indeed, having parts would be nice, but the main problem is that most of the scans come from score books, and so we don't always have the parts to scan! In my view, parts could be submitted on the same page as the main work, maybe under a section called 'Parts', so another section of the site wouldn...

I agree wholeheartedly, but two points in the meantime: 1) Users have the option to set their preferences on which namespaces to search by default. 2) It might be good to also have a "composer" searchbox, that searches _only_ categories by default, or even a new composer namespace. Just id...
