True, some of it can be automated.

It’s for the stuff that can’t be automated (because it’s fiddly and ad hoc ) that this is necessary.

The default link colours are in fact disagreeably close to the basic text colour so that for people with any sight issues they do not readily stand out as hyperlinks.
