Re: Accordion
The problem with accordion music is that, although accordion repertoire ranges anything from Bach to Gubaidulina, the older pieces are arrangements for accordion (which means the arranger still has copyrights on the music), and the newer ones are too new to have faded out of copyright (many composer...

Re: Category:Composer Stubs
Bah - someone deleted him already (Dählke is the composer's name). I still have the files, so I could always re-upload them in two years' time.
And I would like to keep IMSLP clear of any non-PD stuff - let's just stay on the very safe side

Re: Project documentation — please contribute!
I would like to get involved with the Help: re-organisation :) One suggestion would be to have a kind of Help: sitemap for Help:Content, so users would be able to just find any help link from that menu, and each one of the six main Help categories (contributing scores, adding and correcting info, fi...

I've been uploading a lot of scores lately, and I have come across quite a few obstacles in trying to choose an appropriate genre. I thi...

If I may be italic (pun-pun!), I think most of ours users are not scholars, but probably amateur musicians, or students.

Re: Composer template
=P
I think images look more eye-candy, and thus more friendly to the average user. As I said, we could change the colours to fit IMSLP, I wouldn't suggest we put flashing pink, bright green and dark blue with the existing templates..
Although actually - stripy pink sounds good.. >_>

What does "Stifter" mean?
I have some compositions to upload (some of which I have already uploaded), and under the composer's name, there is this: "Stifter: Otto Hammerer" (or something else) (and on one occasion, it is the same as the composer's name). What does it mean? I have the impression it means "Commi...
