Re: Christmas

@Stelz : I already did, but that's a awful way to search for if you're only looking for Christmas pieces to play on a certain instrument and that's not the only thing 'the title of a piece' doesn't always make clear that it's a piece to be played around Christmas. @davydov: What do you mean with 'di...

Christmas

Is there a way to search for Christmas pieces for the piano with the category walker?

If not, is it possible to add a category for it?

KGill wrote:It could be, but you don't need to create a new page. To change a page's title, you can click the 'move' tab at the top, which takes you to another page that lets you specify a new title.
O thank you, nice lesson for next time, I already made a new page but you probably saw that already. ;-)

workpage

I made a mistake in making a workpage (just the name), will it be deleted if I don't upload anything on that page?

Re: Pdf page counting

Thank you @KGill for changing that. I was a little disappointed, hoping to find the whole book when I read 210 pages :-( But I still don't understand why it says 210, because it's just one piece in the anonymous section. Other pieces of this book will probably ever come on their own workpages, so wh...

Liederschatz by Erk

Does someone have the piece called 'Der kleine Tambour' part of the collection Liederschatz by Ludwig Erk(1807-1883) volume I please? I have the book myself - edited version by Max Friedlaender - but that page is damaged. I would much appreciate a copy if you have it. If it's of any use it's in my e...

Pdf page counting

See as an example
http://imslp.org/wiki/Fuchsenritt_%28Anonymous%29

it looks like the page counting of the pdf file isn't working correctly. It gives 210 pages but it only has 1 page but the pagenumber on the score itself gives pagenumber 210.

Re: Does Anybody Know this song?

Good Work @pml! It looks like everyone thought it to be composed by Franz Schubert, maybe because of the lyrics that start with 'Lebe wohl' of Schubert's song? Not only by Liszt and Heller, but I found an arrangement by Henry Maylath too (easy one). On the following page is a bit more information: h...

Re: Does Anybody Know this song?

Abschied von einem Freund? Heller made a transcription of it too (30 melodies by Schubert) and called it lebewhol in his subtitle, searching on the Internet that leads too 'Abschied'. When I compare the two pieces it looks like it is a transcription of D578.

Westendorf/Latour

Hello, I've found a piece of sheet music titled 'Going From De Cotton Fields' in the Levy collection, the composer is Thomas Paine Westendorf (1848-1923). On the title page of that piece the name Thos. P. Westendorf is mentioned, but on the first page of the sheet music the name Pierre Latour is men...

I don't know what went wrong but now the Alternative Title is gone too, and that one was the right one.
