Back broken...

For a short time now, whenever I look at new incoming scores - the "Back" button fails to work on my browser - leaving me in the new work and refusing to return to the list of new scores. This behaviour is identical on Firefox and IE. Can this be fixed? Thanks.

Cracked the 200000 mark

From the 'Site map'....
Number of downloads for Jan 31, 2012: 210458
We should be listed with the DOW and NASDAQ. Now, let's say we had $0.01 for each download....
Anyway, congratulations, all.

Johann Hermann Schein - some guidance requested

Hi everyone, Late last year someone uploaded items from Schein's collection Cymbalum Sionium and Musica boscareccia . There work pages already for the individual songs in these collections. Should we: 1. add the individual songs to the collection pages and delete the work pages? or 2. move works fro...

Re: New Work Page layout?

I'll pipe in with my impressions... I love the idea of tabs, but I think we are loosing our 'clean' look. We now have two different tab styles on the page - the wikimedia tabs at the top and the score type tabs. I think we should imitate the wikimedia tab look, albeit much larger. We should keep bri...

Re: View next composition in composer category

If you are redesigning the work page, one fundamental that we are missing is the ability to go to the composer page from a work page. I often end up on a work page and want to see what else the composer wrote. The only way at the moment, is to scroll to the bottom of the page and pick off the compos...

Publisher's catalogues

Hello all, We now have a page under for publisher's catalogues, see: http://imslp.org/wiki/Publishers%E2%80%99_Catalogues_%28Various%29 . 1) Have we any interest in single page summaries of publishers' works? I have always left these out of my uploaded documents, but some are very old and interestin...

Re: Fleisher Collection

I was in Philadelphia a few weeks ago and popped into the "Free Library of Philadelphia" to visit the Fleisher Collection of orchestral music. It is pretty amazing - I urge anyone with orchestral music interests to visit. My specific purpose was to locate some orchestral parts missing from...

Seems no one else has noticed or has been impressed enough to write about it - we have been above 100000 downloads per day since september (except for a few annoying holidays) and recently broken the 150000 downloads per day milestone  . Thats between one and two downloads per second. I'm a t...

Settings of the same text, same composer, different tune...

What is our policy on different works of the same composer, with the same title and lyrics? This occurs typically with liturgical works, but can also occur with secular. They can, of course, be distinguished if they have a catalogue number (K.V., TWV, etc, etc). In some cases they can be distinguish...

Re: Musical incipits

no graphics ... so far I have concluded... C1 = C clef on first line (lowest), i.e. soprano clef 1F = probably 1 flat HC = half common i.e. cut time but this is far from the standard notation I seen listed here and there. By the way, changing the topic slightly - is anyone familiar with the RISM (Ré...
