I'm running MSIE 5.5 on an ancient Mac (OS 9.22), so it may just be that my computer is too old! (Yes, I know I need to replace it - he-he.) As far as I know, MSIE 5.5/Mac is actually superior to MSIE5/Win (which would probably shred the page to pieces - even IE6 is playing along rather unwillingly...

I concur with Feldmahler, too. Off topic: Besides I have removed the link from Liszt's wikipedia article (that site Peter mentioned above), so now only IMSLP is mentioned with CPDL and WIMA, the latter which I should remove in a couple of days if there aren't going to be any reactions on my recent ...

The reason I proposed what I proposed was because generally I think it is a good idea to have only the minimum amount of duplication on the page level, and also entrust the templates with as much of the formatting as possible (just so we can change it later on, like what happened with the file temp...

No problem, but why do you want to do it like that? I mean, why not output something like
?
Code: Select all
{{PDComposer|yyyy}}
{{Composer|Born={{#makedate:yyyy|mm|dd}}...

Err... which one? The Template:PDComposer is ready since yesterday morning, complete with usage instructions. You can see it in action on the test page. Or are you talking about something else?imslp wrote:I forgot to mention that you can start making the copyright "meta"-template if you want

Video: Heifetz plays Bach's Chaconne for solo violin
Just came across these links in the French Wikipedia, and thought I'd share. Unfortunately the video is cut in two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_1hS5LeBm0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CayfIWwtd5A My favourite however remains a recording of Busoni's transcription, performed by Arturo Benedetti ...

[Edit] I have left out the edit links for the news and featured scores sections. I was thinking that we could put them at the top of the talk page instead. That doesn't seem a logical location to me... But can't think of better alternatives. Well, I can also put them back into the page itself. An a...

And there I was wondering why I got the wrong output on my local server... took me a while to figure that out. Anyway, here is my newest attempt. This function should properly handle Y, YM and YMD. I assumed that the format for YM would be the same in all languages, otherwise we will have to modify ...

OK, I've made some minor changes, and I've filled in the missing content. The background of the welcome text is lighter now, and I've slightly altered the position. I don't know if it is better than before, but at least it should look less squashed on narrow screens. The right column is also a bit w...

You are perfectly right with your observations. The problem is that the software IMSLP is using was originally written for Wikipedia , and thus is not perfectly suited for the purposes of IMSLP (several changes have already been made). We are working on improving it however. Under site development t...
