Many thanks! Would you mind posting on here when you upload it, so I know?

Does anyone have the full score of this wonderful piece?

Re: Striggio: Missa "Ecco si beato giorno"

I've talked to Professor Moroney, and found that there is no published score, unfortunately. Thanks anyway for your help. And yes, I agree that the Striggio works are not nearly as interesting as Spem in Alium, which I had the privilege of performing last weekend!

Re: Striggio: Missa "Ecco si beato giorno"

Off topic, but my college's concert choir just performed Spem In Alium.
On topic, it may be that the piece isn't PD, as it was recently rediscovered?

Striggio: Missa "Ecco si beato giorno"

I'd like to find and purchase a score of this piece, which is mostly in 40 parts and has a 60-part Agnus Dei. It was rediscovered by Davitt Moroney a few years ago. Does anyone know where I could find a copy (or if it was ever published)?

Instrumentation Field

There's been some discussion about having instrumentation be required. However, it shouldn't be too hard for members to go through and add in the instrumentation for scores with nothing listed. Is there a way to search for all scores with nothing listed for instrumentation? If not, can such a catego...

Re: Best Composer ever

Does nobody else here like Renaissance music? I saw that perlnerd mentioned Josquin and others, but that's it. I'd certainly put Palestrina, Byrd, Tallis, and Victoria near the top of my list (though Dvorak and Brahms still occupy the top two spots).

Re: Music for a short film?

Furthermore, it would not be okay to use somebody else's recording of a PD piece, since (almost certainly) the recording would be copyrighted.

[BUG] Alphabetical intersections

When I'm on a composer page, and I click on a letter at the top to show scores starting with that letter, I get this message: This category currently contains no articles or media. The URL for the page (for Bazzini and O, in this case) is http://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Bazzini%2C_Antonio&from=O

All a bit ambitious in terms of winds. We have trouble with the four horns.

Ocean-Themed Orchestral Pieces

My amateur orchestra is doing a concert of ocean-related pieces. We don't have a terribly large wind/brass section, so we probably can't manage anything with more than a few parts of each instrument. Could I have some suggestions? String orchestra pieces are also a possibility.

I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I am at college, and the score is at home, and I won't be back until late March. Sorry!

Both are still copyright, so no. Wait until 2012 and Grainger will be PD in Canada.
