Open with Preview, then do File->Print. Select PDF->Save as PDF. This unlocked it for me, on Mac OS 10.4.

When I view Romanov76110's uploads of Beethoven's clarinet parts, the first page appears with inverted colors and reduced quality. Does this have to do with the CDSM copyright issue? If so, isn't there a better way to deal with it?

I have an edition that will be PD next year, and I plan on uploading it then.

The format is Canada/US/EU, and the letters are as follows:

U=unchecked
V=verified PD
C=checked (not sure)
N=Creative Commons, I think

I don't know what the asterisks mean.

Musopen.com also has PD recordings of quite a few works.

Kreisler died in 1962, so they won't be PD in Canada until 2013. I think they were published in 1928, so they're not PD in the US either.

Nobody will be emailing it to you, if that's what you're hoping. It's still under copyright, so that would be illegal.

First we should check to make sure it's not the same one as is already on IMSLP, but blocked.

Anyone know the dates on Samuel Applebaum (the editor/compiler)? I assume he's still copyright.

Is the recent additions main page section broken? The latest thing I see is Morris: Toccata on a French Theme, but when I click on More, there is other stuff.
