Tosca

Does anyone know of a reduction of Tosca that is larger than the McConathy 2/1/2/1-2/2/1/0, but substantially smaller than the original 3/3/3/3-4/3/3/1? Thoughts? Advice?

Re: Overrated, Overused, Overdone, underrated etc.

Re: Overrated, Overused, Overdone, underrated etc.

Goldberg Variations is the most perfect piece of music ever composed, or at least very close to it. What's wrong with the Glenn Gould performances? I think they're fantastic.

Re: Composer Work Lists

More information is better, but we can't let the lists get too cluttered. The sort of "generally accepted format" is the CTKDFGN format.

Re: Composer Work Lists

I prefer the following information in a sortable format: Opus No. / Catalog # — As published Title — used on IMSLP in accordance with naming guidelines Key — the principal key of the work. (<--- IF applicable) Date — the year(s) of composition, where known. Scoring (Forces) — the instrumentation use...

You can always buy it from Ricordi. They have a nice vocal score edition.

Is anybody else getting the weird forum bug on the announcements where it lists Perlnerd666 as having the last post?
