Re: Over-Used/Over-Done things in the world of music..

-"Unison" endings (most of Tchaikovsky's and the Strauss family's endings for exapmle) Doesn't bother me. -Piano Concertos/Sonatas etc.... Strongly disagree. I love the piano (sick of writing for it lately mind you). -Suspenden Cymbal roles before a climax -Cymbal Crashes every time the p...

torrentfreak.com

TorrentFreak.com is blocked by my uni for some reason, the ironic thing: PirateBay isn't blocked.

Well, listing composers' names is hardly talking at all. How about discussing the music? Analysis, aesthetics, philosophy, harmony, theory, history; heave...

Re: Your Top 5 Favorite Pieces

What are you talking about, kissing a decapitated head is extremely realistic, as are love potions, talking loudly to yourself (without the other person hearing) and putting on a dress and people no noticing.

Re: IMSLP's Reputation Abroad the Net

I always have it in my signature (and in my email signature - and twitter - and blog) I mention it when it comes up, but I don't advertise per se.

Plus there was another thread like this but I can't seem to find it right now.

Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?

I saw it again (in a tab I forgot to close) it was definitely a spam link, they are typical of spammers and they are certainly getting more and more realistic in their posts. If you've noticed, the spammer hasn't complained of his banning ergo, it hasn't noticed. Basically, it was definitely spam. I...
