Retypeset scores, misprints, shyness

Here are two examples of retypeset scores with misprints that remained in this situation for a long time: 1: http://imslpforums.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7221 2: http://imslp.org/index.php?title=Special:WikiForum&thread=5106 (follow this thread http://www.mail-archive.com/tex-music@tug.org/msg...

There is a better scan of the piano score on: http://imslp.org/wiki/Werke_%28Beethoven,_Ludwig_van%29 Abteilung IV, Band 3, p.103. But sorry, not the "real" clarinet and cello parts :-(

Re: Prokofiev, Peter and the Wolf parts

Although we have a set of parts, it is a typeset. This typeset contains many mistakes, at least in the clarinet part, with wrong articulations, wrong notes and at least one missing bar. http://imslp.org/wiki/Peter_and_the_Wolf,_Op.67_%28Prokofiev,_Sergey%29 Isn't there any way to provide this types...

I do when I upload something and am aware of its presence in the wishlist. it would be nice if the imslp server could detect my upload automatically! :-)

@Reinecke: http://imslp.org/wiki/Trio_for_Piano,_C ... cke,_Carl) Hum, a funny situation! The cover page says Violin & Viola and p.2 of the Piano score says these instruments are alternate for 2 wind instruments! :-)

Re: Odd spacing in some computer-generated score files.

Maybe it's not important, but I'm curious [...] I see this too often for it to be mere coincidence Maybe it's really not important :-) but I see too often computer-generated scores - from baroque to living composers - with a tiny notation to avoid collisions. On p.2 of this score http://imslp....

Thanks. I thought it was nice to "teach" non-registered users some copyright issue if they don't notice our http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Copyright_Made_Simple page.

I'll be happy to examine scores you've produced. :-) Are there any on imslp?

Re: Odd spacing in some computer-generated score files.

although I'd think any self-respecting composer would find out how to correct it before presenting their scores to the world. In France we have the saying: A beautiful calligraphy is the science of donkeys . :-) Would Beethoven have been so productive if he had spent more time writing beautiful man...

Finale has its own forum for questions like this: http://www.finaleforum.com/
You might recommend the contributors to join it. :-) I imagine other typesetting systems have their own forums.

Re: Johan Daniel Berlin, Sonatina in D minor for keyboard 5

I spent $9 to download this from Scribd and it turned out it was only the first movement out of 5!? Are the $9 a permission to download all scribd scores? Sort of a subscription? Or that one only? The pdf I downloaded says at the bottom "Eiendom for alle land" This means "property fo...
