IMSLP only for classic or also for new piano scores?

Post by Linkblade »

Hi there,

im about to upload a score of a modern componist and i am wondering if ISMLP is meant to be only for classic scores or also for modern things like this.
The songscore i wanted to upload is "Ghinzu - The Dragster Wave" --> youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyR__TSfhGs

Is IMSLP meant to be only for classic or also for new piano scores?

Only if you have permission to upload it from the copyright holder.

It's not specifically for classical, by any means.

It's just that the large majority of legal-to-upload sheet music is classical.

And, indeed, a large amount of non-classical music is not notated.
