Zemlinsky - Florentine Tragedy

Post by homerdundas »

A Florentine Tragedy (1916) full orchestral score
Alexander von Zemlinsky
Universal Edition UE 5663
Copyright 1977
(vocal score was c1916)
Korr. V/2002 (meaning??)

Libretto based on Oscar Wilde's play translated into german by Max Mayerfeld.
(or Meyerfeld)

It may be that this is the first publication of the full score. I guess it's PD in Canada, so this is a question about U.S.A. copyright - I don't want to do the work if it is just going to be [TB] for a few years. (ehem... any news on that?)
Thanks.

This is a later "corrected" edition and is public domain in the US. The corrections cannot be considered sufficient enough to warrant a new copyright. Upload away...
