Bela, Bartok

Post by m.kowalski49 »

So, I recently just uploaded about a week ago or more. Bartoks Viola Concerto, which was deleted. (Tibor Serly d1978ish or so) no worries on that the Vla Concerto, had no idea!!

But can I get the following information on the works listed below?

Miraculous Mandarin Suite and complete Ballet
Music for Celeste, String and Percussion
Violin Concerto 1 and 2

Thanks! mk49

The information I can find for Miraculous Mandarin has a 1927 date, along with a probably bogus 1955 renewal date. Music S, P, E has a 1937 date only, while the two Violin Concertos should have dates around 1956 and 1937 respectively. Basically, just about all of Bartok is uploadable to IMSLP (except the posthumous Viola Concerto, as you know), but a large portion of it will be blocked due to being published after 1923 in the US.

Thats fine with me, I just want to contribute. And the likely hood of one uploading these parts in near future maybe slim. "Maybe" keyword, unless one inherits an Entire Organizations Music Library.

Thanks
