Bartok: Ket kep (2 portraits), Op. 10

Post by Matthieu »

Hi all,
I am about to scan (and upload) this piece from the "Editio Musica Budapest" study score, plate Z. 40 056. The copyright that appears on the first page says:

1912, by Rozsavolgyi & Co. Budapest
Copyright assigned 1950 to Editio Musica, Budapest
Printed in hungary

As far as I understand, this should be PD in Canada. May I go ahead ?

That piece is free in both Canada and the USA. Post away!

Thanks !
My question dates from the time I was not 100% aware of PD rules. Now that I'am a copyright reviewer, I realize how my question was elementary :D
