C. F. Abel: Duet for 2 Cellos

As a newbie I'd be grateful for some advice on the 'urtext' status of this:
- the composer died in 1787
- the score that I plan to scan and upload is © 1988 by Amadeus Verlag Winterthur, Switzerland
- the notes say: 'The original printing was carelessly done. Comparisons by analogy however enabled us to tacitly correct obvious mistakes. .... We present the work in an edition of parts in order to guarantee a performance without page-turning problems.'
