Locomotiv-Galopp, Op.31 - Philipp Fahrbach Sr.

Post by uggsters »

Good evening,

I recently found that Fahrbach Sr.'s Op.31 is stored at the Duke University in North Carolina and sent a request for a scan. They have just delivered on that request (free of charge because it was my first request).
It appears to be an original publication, four pages long (including front cover): published by T.Haslinger, T.H. 7567 but is undated.
I am unaware of the Duke University library's copyright policies - or if their Rubinstein library in particular differs in these policies - and cannot find anything on the topic.

I would be willing to copy the score over into Musescore by hand but, as I have mentioned, am unaware of the library's copyright policy on reproductions.

Please advise.

If something is in the public domain, and this is, then any 'policies' they might have are irrelevant. You're completely free to scan and upload it.
