Postcards with melodies & lyrics

Post by kdkeller »

Hello,

is it desired that our IMSLP database includes old postcards with melodies & lyrics?
Example: http://www.bildpostkarten.uni-osnabruec ... p?pos=-334
(click on the image to see the high resolution).
I asked the owner of the postcards: We can upload them if we mention the source and we keep the watermark on the scans.

Greetings, kdkeller

Those are quite interesting, I'll have a look at them later.

I can't speak for IMSLP, but those seem to have more of a historical significance than the practicality of PD scores.

Good find though. (or is this a well known site and I am just left in the dark?)
