Is this instrument a Double bass or a Doublebass?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_bass. Recently I put the second form into the Instrumention field of a score and a reviewer changed it into the second!

Go ahead and change it back if you like. The name of that instrument is one of the more 'unsettled' ones in English. Contrabass, Double bass, String bass and Doublebass are all encountered frequently, with the simple (and a bit vague, as it also describes the voice) "Bass" being found perhaps most of all.
