Uploading my singing-translation of "The Tale of Tsar Saltan"

Post by Lyle Neff »

Hello, everyone,
I would like to upload a PDF of my English singing-translation of the libretto of Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" to IMSLP.
This translation was written primarily during 1986, and was sung in a production at Indiana University during spring semester of 1987. One of those four performances was broadcast on NPR's "World of Opera" later that year. To be clear, this would be a PDF of the text alone, not including the score. (That would be a separate kind of upload.)
Am I right that I should post this PDF to Rimsky-Korsakov's work-page for the opera under the "Libretti" tab (https://imslp.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_Tsar ... C_Nikolay)), and then somehow it should be included in a tab on my own composer-page (https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Neff%2C_Lyle_K.)?
Thanks in advance for any information.

Hello Lyle. Yes, that's the correct procedure, and if you include your name as the translator via the "LinkTr" template, it should automatically generate a link from your own category page. Just edit the page afterwards so that the file details include this line:

|Translator={{LinkTr|Lyle K.|Neff}}
