Login only lasting one day?

I know that the login screen says nothing about the signin persisting a full 365 days (only that it won't last more than that), but I find I have to enter my name and password to IMSLP (and imslpforums, I think, though not all other sites) on an (almost?) daily basis now. Fairly sure it's not my cookie settings, could something have changed on the site end recently or is this something specific on my end (or that of people who, like me, are using a 2019 iMac with MacOS "Sonoma", etc. ? )
