Thumb linking to Preview?

Post by jujimufu »

I was thinking, maybe it would be a better idea to have the "thumb" image of each work to link to its "preview" image (where available).

It would be a lot more user-friendly if all they did was click on the thumb image and got linked to the preview. Besides, no one (not any of the simple users of the website anyway) really wants to see the file page of the uploaded thumb image.

If I remember correctly, this is the way it was before the layout changed. Was there any reason behind that change, or is it just one of those things that get "defaulted" and never set back to how they were?

do you mean making the first page of any PDF a preview image, then link a thumb to it?

At this stage, PDFs do not have preview images, as the first page is not necessary the score. Also you can figure out how it sounds by going to youtube...........
