IMSLP Forums

I was thinking it might be a good idea to go through some of the IMSLP vocal score files and create subset downloads for the famous/popular arias. I don't want to coordinate it, but it's been on my mind.

My reasoning is it would save IMSLP $$ and bandwidth because many individuals downloading entire vocal scores are most likely just seeking specific arias. I've posted a few individual popular arias on the site alongside the vocal scores, and the download numbers are quite impressive. (My screenname differs on the IMSLP wiki from the forums).

The only problem I can see is where to stop—why stop at opera vocal scores? When do the pages get too cluttered?

It's perhaps a good idea, but someone needs to implement it anyway.
