Bitcoin Tip Jar for Composers

Post by jeff_harrington »

I'd like to add a Bitcoin tip jar address to my music page. I'm giving away hundreds of scores, thousands of them have been downloaded, and I know a few folks who would like to be able to say thanks. I just tried to add it under Recordings but it didn't show up.

Is this cool?
How best should I express this on my page?

EDIT: I added it as a Miscellaneous Information chunk. I hope you guys are OK with this... I could use the dough...

That's fine. I might try and do a direct link with that if possible for you. We do have a series of so-called 'performance-restricted' licenses available for composers who are members of ASCAP and other performing rights organizations. Not everyone likes that schema of course but we try to be flexible here.

It would have to be a link to an online wallet, which is not as secure as just sending money to the address I provided. Thanks for taking the time to consider my idea!
