A friend of mine who's a music librarian asked me to ask the IMSLP community: How come librettos are not part of IMSLP? Shouldn't they be?

They are, they just don't have separate pages - they appear in their own sections on the page for the appropriate opera.

We don't have a great many of them, which could account for some confusion about the issue.
