Before I saw this thread i answered your question on your wiki page as part of another issue but yes I would list them as last name, first name.

I have found a list of about 30 short pieces that were used for sight readings at the Concours at the Conservatoire, some of which were written by famous composers such as Massenet, Dukas and D'Indy. Do you think we should add them to the "Morceaux de Concours" page or create an entirely new page with them?

I'm hoping to get permission to upload all these manuscripts which haven't been edited before.

I was actually thinking about that today in that there seems to have been no record kept about the sight-reading pieces and I had run across several composed by Delibes a few years ago. I even posted my own typeset of one of them (Morceau à déchiffrer pour le trombone). Since there's not likely to be many of these documented we can probably set up one table to house them all.

These pieces are at the Archives Nationales (France) and not at the BnF like it could be expected.

Seems like their collection is pretty vast.

Let me know what you think would be the best format to enter the list of 35+ sight-readings for horn.

I've added the framework of a separate table for the sight-reading pieces beneath the set pieces for horn. At a cursory glance at that link I couldn't find where it specified the year for each composer's piece--only a list of composers. At some point I'll break out these tables into separate pages--one for each instrument.

Indeed, it's only a list of composers. I have some of the material but only for the horn, unfortunately. It's still good to know that all of these pieces, or rather what is available, is there.

Then it's probably best to simply do a bulleted list of names for the time being.

I've got about 23 sight-reading pieces in manuscript form ready to be uploaded. Would you like to write a template to connect them with the "Morceaux de concours" page?

I didn't realize you had so much information on the sight-reading pieces for horn. There might have been a way to modify the existing template to cover both set and sight-reading pieces but I thought it easier to create the following template: Mdc-sr. It uses the same option as the Mdc template.

Thank you! It's information I was just made aware in the past few days.
