Composition with multiple versions and transcriptions

Post by marcusaureliuscello »

Greetings everyone! I hope you are having a great week. This is my first post, so I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place for this question. If it's not I'd be grateful if you can please direct me to where I can ask this:

I'm trying to enter several of my compositions. Most of them exist in multiple versions and in multiple transcriptions (E.g. score for flute solo, score for flute and piano, score for alto saxophone, etc all of the same original composition I wrote). How does one do that? I don't see a field for versions or transcriptions in the form to submit a new composition. Should I use the "instrumentation" field for that? And how does one upload the multiple transcriptions without overwriting the other ones?

Thank you,
Marcus Aurelius

Decide that one of your versions is the main version and upload it as New Composition putting its instrumentation into the Instrumentation field. Then upload each other version one by one with Add File, New Arrangement. There will be a field for its instrumentation.
