Magri, 3 laudi, wrong publisher

Post by ctesibius »

the 3 laudi by Magri are reported published as M. Capra, Turin.
This edition is by Vittorio Carrara, Bergamo

Not so sure. The legend indicates it was 'engraved and printed' by Carrara, just as one often sees things issued by other publishers which were engraved and printed by Breitkopf. The plate number pattern is more in keeping with Capra.

you are right Carolus. I found it listed in a ad page by Capra as plate 102.
Sorry for the noise
