Alois Hába's works

Post by justforplaying »

Category page: https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:H%C3%A1ba%2C_Alois
Checked for the following works with Hathitrust/UK library:
Phantasy for Solo Violin in Quarter-tone system Op.9a - published in 1923 by Universal Edition
(https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/102607333)
Fantasia II for Quarter-tone Pianoforte Op.19 - published in 1925 by Universal Edition
(https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/102607811)
6 Pieces for Piano Op.6 - published in 1920 by Universal Edition
(https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/010648250) (this one actually has confirmed to be in PD-US already, but for some reasons the requester didn't upload the work)
Piano Sonata Op.3 - published in 1919 by Universal Edition
(https://explore.bl.uk/primo_library/lib ... 1004382931)
I would like to upload those in PD-US as well, as I have copies of those scores in my hand.

I forgot to add that his Op.2 is also in PD-US right now, unsurprisingly. Published by Edition Universalle aka Universal Edition in 1920.

The workpages have been created, now I'm slowly uploading the scores (busy right now)
Thanks for approval 🙂

Re Op.2 being unsurprisingly public domain in the US since Opp.1&3 are: just be aware there are a number of "surprising" exceptions :), so it's good to know.
