Anybody have a "real" score of Webern's Op.21 Symphony

Post by sbeckmesser »

I have the Russian download score also available here at IMSLP and comparing it to two recordings (Boulez/DG, Sinopoli/Teldec) I find that in the next to last bar of the 1st movement the Russian score lacks the harp C-D-flat of the first ending that is played in the second ending in both recordings. Can somebody with a legit copy of this piece confirm that this is an error in the Russian score? If so, it is yet another one of Webern's at IMSLP that cannot be trusted for accuracy. Since this and other Webern pieces are intensively studied and analyzed in music history, theory and composition classes: STUDENTS BEWARE!
