Dowloading copyrighted material

Although I have qualms about the whole issue of copyright I appreciate that IMSLP has to abide by the rules and so cannot allow downloads of copyrighted material.

Would it be possible however to render these scores into a non-downloadable non-printable status until such time as they can be made available in the normal way? I realise what I am suggesting would involve some jiggery pokery of the website structure but at least members could then check scores on-screen for study purposes.

And yes I know that some sad people might try to download using the PrtScn facility, but surely most of us have more sense and less time.

Um....even if they aren't DLable, just having them viewable publicly like that would be just as much a copyright violation.
