Proposal: automatic PD tags

Come to think of it, the matter is even more complicated with the file entry templates, since death dates of editors, arrangers and what not may have to be taken into account.

Automation of file tagging is pretty much impossible... :/ Work page tagging still possible though...

It could be made "semi-automatic", in the sense that the user must provide the expiry dates for the three groups of countries we are taking into account.

This is basically a decision about whether we prefer to slightly increase the burden for the contributors (only in those cases where a file is not PD worldwide; in which case they have to check where it is PD anyway, so determining the expiry date shouldn't be much more difficult I guess), or whether we want to leave it to the community/the admins to check all the templates manually once a year.

Hmm... let me think about it. The problem is that there are at many times "fuzzy" matches, in other words, the exact year is unknown, but the range within which it falls is known...
