I've created a typeset version of Jupiter for 2 pianos from Holst's Planets suite to match the sheet music available here
http://imslp.org/wiki/The_Planets,_Op.3 ... omposer.29

I would love to upload my engraving. What copyright status restrictions might apply to my engraving if the original scan of the score is currently only PD in the EU? Would my creation now be free of this copyright restriction?

If not, can I as the engraver make a few editorial changes that make me the editor and publisher and allow the engraving to be free of copyright worldwide?

It is actually free everywhere except the United States. Imogen's editing is of a 'critical edition' nature and well over 25 years old. The publication in 1949 is why it's locked up in the USA.

Would my engraving that is clearly based on her edition still be locked in the USA?

Yes. Date of first publication is the determining factor in the USA.
