Hi,
I'm here to request a feature, and I'm sorry if it already exists. Is there way through searching or the category crawler to find all the files of certain type (say, .xml, .cap, .mus, etc.)?

There isn't such a feature, no; and since there are so few file formats allowed I am afraid it might not be of too much use, unless it were to locate the handful SIB and MUS files we still have from several years ago when they could be uploaded.
