Trio Sonata in D minor, Wq.145 (H.569) (Bach, C.Ph.E)

Post by choi se myung »

Now, this score was uploaded.

However,it is not Trio Sonata in D minor, Wq.145 (Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel) but Trio Sonatas, BWV 1036 (Bach, Johann Sebastian)

I am coming to IMSLP to see if any of you have any such information on it or if you have it to please upload?

According to this source, Wq. 145 is to a certain extent identical with BWV 1036 as it was a work by both J.S. and C.P.E. Bach.

Actually, it seems that the score posted on IMSLP for Wq. 145 is the same as that posted for BWV 1036. Somebody slipped up?

Eric: the issue may not be Youtube; see my post of 10/4.

ah I see- the key word is _variante_, the works shouldn't be the same as each other. Does anyone have material on the exact relation of the two works to each other, offhand? Will go look myself soon. Apologies.
